Spring keeps flirting with us – peeking out from behind the cover of frost. I can’t wait to see the daffodils sprout and bloom.  The fresh array of colors and blooms is the perfect setting for family photos and new beginnings. Fresh flowers are indicative of new love, new life and new beginnings.

               This spring, I will get to go to a new location - St. Kitts. This little 69 sq. foot island is a heavenly paradise of clear blue water, silken sand, jungle adventures, sight-seeing cruises and most importantly, drinks with little umbrella’s. A fantastic family has pulled my arm and decidedly forced me to come along and shot their family vacation. I just can’t imagine how I will manage. I am so honored and blessed that my clients love me enough to share this vacation with them. Bottoms up. Celebrate the irish in style for sure this year!

               Not all of you may know, but I believe strongly in giving back to those in need through charity. In the past I have done special photo sessions for families sending proceeds to a charity of choice. The last weekend in March I will be repeating these efforts for Cancer Awareness. Any of you who have known a friend or loved one who has battled cancer knows the misery it causes.  Not only is the individual affected, but also those family and friends surrounding them.

               I want all those who are participating in this event to know how truly thankful I am for your participation. Your support, additional donations, personal stories and overwhelming kindness is astounding.  I know crazy to think that Atlanta, Ga could look so peaceful... yet, this lil spot off one of the rivers...by Vinnings was amazing... see if you can find the moon? that was the idea for the first pic... pics for a project for a special client... My great friend Carla helped me find this special gem find.....thanks Carla...featured in the last pic... lol she is easier to spot than the moon maybe...lol I did not have enough time to post these under Feb. news...since i shot these the last weekend of Feb...so, here they are for March... :)

 I know you are full of happiness after seeing this...i mean how could you not...??? This lil Baby girl...has hit newspapers nationwide.... Miss Stella is one miracle baby and she touches my heart so much every time i see her... She reminds that miracles do happen... This time we documented her 1 year...in style of course... doing what she loves... eating her shoes, playing with kitchen cabinets, and running everywhere of course in the snow... and to top off with a cupcake... truly so hard to only choice a couple of pics... enjoy!

  This couple proves...you can find love anywhere even your backyards.... they lived on the same street growing up.... and now look at them... at an abandon gas/car wash station downtown...making it look amazing... There "I do's" will be in May 2010..stay tuned for this gorgeous couple...

 Miss Maddie is the newest addition to the Hicks family... they drove from KY for their me to capture these moments... truly special... yet, there lil pug is missing...so in a couple of months i will go to KY to shoot all 4 of them....then it will be complete.... Miss Maddie is only weeks old...and she rolled over while i was shooting... crazy... i think she is going to be one active lil sprout!...and yes... wall street paper is for daddy is owns a financial co. and he makes wine.... his newest wine named Madeline! too cute!

COMMERCIAL EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY HUNTERSVILLE, NC

 “Over the Tabletop”, as an assemblage of interior designers and other related specialists, were being asked to create a custom tablescape, for a benefit to assist the Ada Jenkins center.  The center, is located in Davidson, North Carolina, and offers the surrounding community, a wide variety of services, from education, support for families in crisis, healthcare, food and many other worthwhile endeavors.  Their mission is to “empower for a better tomorrow”.  Wanda Horton theme or inspiration for her table design, is based on William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.  A movie, made in the late ‘90’s, (as in 1999), with the lovely Michelle Pfeiffer, conjures up images of forests, fairies and fantasy.  She imagined a setting, fit for Hermia and Lysander, as they plan their elopement, and thus, the comedy begins.  The  tablecloth has been handpainted and the chairs are more than comfortable...totally awesome...and can fit into anyone's home....Click here to learn more about this amazing interior designer.... http://www.interiorconceptsbywanda.com/

wow....what an experiance...just amazing...truly... st. christopher harbour... is going to be gorgeous...  a pic of the marina being built as we speak.... the carribean ocean is the blue water...to give you an idea what way you are facing....so hard to only pic a few pics to post from this 7 day adventure with my cleint...

from sunrise's, boat rides, jungle hikes, horse riding on the ocean, wild animals all around... to just playing on the beach to sunset.... speechless...a place you must visit.... also, while i was there got to do some commercial corporate work for an interior designer... miss Allison... and some work for th island... big things are happening...here!!! so happy to share just a lil glimpse of what is going on... love me:)

Yes... Mr. Echo loves to climb trees even at 2 years of age... a lil adventure we went on... he has no fear... lol takes after his momma...:)
